I am a successful Architect and
Engineer, having owned my own practice for 23 years and been
in the profession for 30 years. I also know what I want in life
and so far in my life have usually found a way to obtain it.
I have a BS in Architectural Engineering, a MS in Construction
Engineering and Management and a PhD in Architecture.
I don't smoke and can do without drinking although from time
to time I will have a drink with a friend.
I am financially secure and am just getting ready to build a
new house on 9.6 acres (about 43000 square meters) of land. It
is going to be a wonderful place to live, in the 20-meter high
pine trees. I have designed projects from Alaska to Florida and
California to Virginia, as well as Mexico, Columbia, Yugoslavia,
the UK and Russia. My main office is in Denver but I also have
a branch office in Seattle, Washington and one in Minneapolis,
Minnesota.
I love to travel, cuddle, hike,
walk, read, scuba dive (but I need lessons) and going to the
movies or theater. The truth is, I enjoy most anything new and
adventuresome as well as just hanging around home and enjoying
its comfort and solitude, especially with the woman that I love.
I have always been spontaneous and will sometimes call the one
I love and say "how about going to San Francisco this weekend,"
amongst other places or things. For that reason, I would prefer
to have a soul mate that does not work or at least has a flexible
schedule.
I am 52 years young and 5'-11"
(180 cm) tall and have a large frame and a bit the teddy bear
type, but I am not fat, rather I am physically fit. I walk and
work out regularly and am in excellent health.
I love to golf but my game is off right now. I had been too busy
to keep it up and need practice and perhaps some lessons. I have
a great sense of humor and love to tease and laugh when appropriate.
I came from humble means but I am comfortable in a five star
resort or a secluded picnic in the mountains.
I haven't found the rule book
for love but I really believe a quote that I once saw, "you
can make love when it happens-but you just can't make love happen!
You know, it takes two to make love happen.
Unfortunately, I have been disappointed
as of late. I divorced my wife of 26 years about 5 years ago.
She was a wonderful person. but we just grew apart as many people
do. I want to finish my life with someone that together with
me created that mythical "spark." I want it all if
I get re-married, since I only intend to have one more marriage.
Is that asking too much? I want the love, the intimacy, the common
interests the space to pursue separate interests. I am generous,
but don't like to be taken advantage of. I am loving and romantic,
but want to be loved in return. I am a very good provider, but
I love to be nurtured and appreciated. I think honesty and trust
are the foundation for any successful relationship and I always
assume that people are being honest with me until someone is
dishonest with me. I am very perceptive so I generally am able
to tell when something is wrong.
Earlier this year, I came to
the conclusion that I just didn't enjoy the company of American
women any more. They have really changed in the past 30 years.
Having visited Thailand last year, I came away very impressed
with the Thai people and the Thai culture and after doing a little
more research I really have become impressed with Thai women.
I am a "one woman one man" type of person and I am
looking for that right "one Thai woman" for me. I am
convinced that I am destined to spend the rest of my live with
a beautiful, kind, nurturing Thai woman.
